Hanauma Bay

Hanauma Bay is the most popular snorkeling site on Oahu sometimes attracting thousands of visitors on a busy day. Despite its popularity the former Kings private fishing grounds boast some of the best snorkeling on Oahu.

Many varities of fish can be seen only yards from the shoreline and sea turtles are also known to frequent the bay. Wide areas of shallow reef and sand bottom make this a great location for visitors of all ages

Snorkel rentals are available directly on the beach but food concessions are not present within the park area. The bay is located only 20 minutes east of Waikiki and is closed on every Tuesday.
