The Byodo-In Temple is a scale replica of a famous temple located in Uji Japan. Its was built in 1968 to commemorate Japanese immigrants in Hawaii.
The temple was built entirely without nails and is grounds are composed of a handful distinct areas. Guests can visit the bell house before entering the temple which houses a large Bhudda.
Large koi ponds and gardens surround the temple which is set deep within the Vally of Temples Memorial Park.
The grounds are open most days and ample parking is available for visitors. The entrance is situated within close proximity to the surrounding cemetery.
